Want to work on your art in our Art Club room while hanging out with other people from the club working on their stuff? It's a great way to have a scheduled art-making time with a fun and low-key atmosphere. If that sounds good to you, come on down! There's no charge to participate, it's just BYOAP (Bring Your Own Art Project!)

• February 4, 6-8pm @ The Hinton Art Club Room, The Guild, 2nd floor, 821 Switzer Drive in Hinton.

• Entrance to the Guild is on the east side of the building facing the Rec Centre. Look for the large arts awards plaque- the door is just beside it on the right.

Join the Hinton Art Club for a guided pet portrait session on Sunday Feb 9, 2025, from 2pm-5pm at Folding Mountain Brewing!  Paint your dog, your cat, your hamster, or your horse! If you don’t have a furry friend to immortalize, we’ve got plenty of cute photos that deserve to be put on canvas; just let us know.  

 

-REGISTRATION:  $50 including all supplies and a Folding Mountain beverage of your choice ($40 for HAC members.)  Want to become a Hinton Art Club member and save on events like these? It’s only $20 per year and it's a great way to connect with other artists in the community. @The Northern Rockies Museum, 225 Gregg Ave in Hinton

 

This guided sketching class will take place at the Northern Rockies Museum on February 16, included in the Hinton Winter Magic Festival schedule! I will provide a selection of artifacts from the museum's collection that participants will be able to sketch with pencil and paper. I will do a walk through of sketching tips and provide ideas for how to have fun sketching historical artifacts.

 

-REGISTRATION:  $20 for HAC members and $25 for non-members. All supplies are included but if participants would like to bring their own pencils/sketchbooks they are welcome to.
