Why become a member?

Membership is how we celebrate and grow the local arts community, provide platforms for artists and makers to be seen, coordinate projects and events that benefit Hinton, and build partnerships that attract funding for arts in town.

Membership benefits

Members receive promotion, visibility, and a supportive network that makes it easier to create, collaborate, and thrive.

1) Promotion + visibility

We actively help members get discovered through:

  • member spotlights and profiles on our website
  • social media features and shout-outs
  • inclusion in our local Artist Directory to make it easier for clients, businesses, and those looking to commission local artists to find you
  • opportunities to be featured in storytelling and local media outreach

2) Member profile on our site

Members can submit:

  • a short bio and artist statement
  • 3–8 photos (artwork, process, events, headshots)
  • links to websites, socials, and places to buy or support their work
  • a short “available for” section—commissions, workshops, shows, collaborations, etc.

3) Community + connection

Membership connects you to:

  • calls for artists and local opportunities
  • collaboration and volunteer opportunities (when you want them)
  • invitations to member gatherings, feedback sessions, and planning circles
  • a stronger collective voice for arts and culture in Hinton

Membership fees

Annual membership fee:
Individual $25
Family $ 65 (2 adults, unlimited children)

Renewal date: 31 January

What membership fees are used for

Membership fees go directly toward:

  • maintaining our website and member directory
  • communications and promotion (design, printing, digital tools)
  • event logistics and community programming
  • organizational operations required for funding applications and partnerships
