Hinton Art Walk — August 17, 2024
On August 17, 2024, the first annual Hinton Art Walk transformed Green Square into a celebration of artists, makers, musicians, and neighbours.
The inaugural event invited residents and visitors to explore booths, performances, and conversations that showcased Hinton’s creative spirit.
First Annual Event
What began as an idea to highlight local creativity quickly became a vibrant celebration of art, conversation, and community. Mountains’ Edge Culture and Arts organized live music, curated artist booths, and created space for meaningful dialogue in Hinton’s Green Square.
Community highlights
The Art Walk underscored the depth and diversity of Hinton’s creative community. Painters, illustrators, photographers, fibre artists, sculptors, musicians, and multidisciplinary creators all contributed to a shared sense of possibility.
Families, seniors, longtime residents, and first-time visitors moved easily between stops, creating an atmosphere that was welcoming, curious, and unmistakably Hinton.
